Announcing EGF 2025-2026 National Champions

The 2025-2026 school year ended with a bang as schools all over the country claimed their EGF regional and national titles! We're so incredibly thankful for all of the schools and players that compete in EGF's high school and middle school esports league and are in complete awe of the efforts put in by everyone over the course of the year.

This year we completed EGFY (middle school) Season 9 and 10 and EGFH (high school) seasons 17 and 18 welcoming new schools and returning schools across 12 game competitions between our two scholastic leagues.

The EGFH National Championships returned to San Antonio, Texas for the second year as a part of the Forge Scholastic Esports event at the Boeing Tech Center where more than 60 EGF teams competed for the national title!

EGFH National Championships

EGF's High School National Championships took place as part of the Forge Scholastic Esports event in San Antonio, TX at the Boeing Tech Center the weekend of May 15th followed by the online national championships the following weekend! 10 championships were determined between both events with schools competing from across the country!

In 2026 we continued to see impressive results from schools like Benjamin Franklin High School and DaVinci Schools out of California, Hamilton Southeastern in India, High Tech High School in NJ, Palm Beach Lakes in Florida, Davidson High School in Alabama and so many more that have qualified year over year!

In an already incredibly competitive year, several powerhouse schools scored back to back titles including High Tech High School in SSBU Crews and Singles, Hamilton Southeastern in Valorant, and Benjamin Franklin in Rocket League as a massive testament to the commitment and hard work put in by so many coaches and students not just in a single season, but year over year.

While many schools continue to prove themselves year over year, we also saw amazing matches from schools like first time national champions Monsignor McClancy who won Marvel Rivals and Hebron High School in Overwatch in Texas while online Milpitas High School in CA took their first SF6 championship alongside Christian Brothers College (NBA2K 3v3), Irvington High School (NBA2K Singles), and High Tech High School (Chess). We're incredibly proud of every team and player that competed with EGF this year and we're looking forward to EGFH's 19th season and EGFY's 11th season in the Fall!
