EGFC is the organizing body for Division I varsity esports programs. Joining EGFC means teams match up against equally dominant schools with large student bodies and alumni bases. EGF teams face-off in rivalry matches that are attractive to audiences, broadcasters and sponsors.

Our out-of-the-box esports solution allows Division I universities and administrators to quickly establish effective formalized esports programs that include competitive teams, facilities, education, and social impact as part of a national league.

Invitationals, community events, and special events are held throughout the year.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

To become a member of EGFC, a college or university must meet the following criteria

  • Be a Division I College or University

  • Must be, or be working towards creating, a varsity (or formally recognized) university esports program or team

  • Register at least one team for the next available season for any supported title

  • Designate one faculty/staff from the Institution as a representative to EGF

  • Adhere to EGFC regulations and code of conduct

EGFC BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The Board of Governors is an elected group of faculty and staff from member institutions of EGFC. These individuals serve three year terms working directly with EGF on collegiate League policy, oversight, and the development of League programs and resources for member schools and their students. EGF is proud to work with these members and the rest of our community to continue the EGFC mission of creating the best possible experiences and opportunities for our student players and communities.
